An End to Silence: Prisoners’ Handbook on Identifying and Addressing Sexual Misconduct (2002)

This important handbook contains critical information and strategies on combating sexual harassment or sexual misconduct directed at offenders by correctional officers or others responsible for their care. The handbook was written by Professor Brenda V. Smith of the Washington College of Law at American University, former director of the Women in Prison Project of the National Women’s Law Center. It is available free of charge to prisoners. Others can purchase An End to Silence for $30, including s/h ($20 for non profits, including s/h). D.C. residents, add 5.57% sales tax.
